Wells got a scooter a couple of weeks ago and he loves it! He will not separate himself from it. When we go inside the "scootie" comes inside. When we are outside one foot is planted flat on the scooter and the other on the pavement. He even wants me to put it in the car when we leave (but I will NOT break down and do that). He's pretty good at it too. I'm surprised at how fast he's caught on.
A few nights ago I was taking video of him going down our neighbors driveway and we just happened to get our little neighbor girl Claire learning how to ride her bike. In the video you can see her brother Reese teaching her how to ride the bike. Then a little later in the video you can see Claire riding the bike by herself and all the neighbor kids running after her cheering her on :)
At the end of the video there is a clip of Wells turfing it on his scooter and I just had to put it in because it shows what a tough little thing he is.
He does really well with that. I loved how supportive all your neighbor kids were towards that little girl. Fun video to have.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this post, but I'm finally seeing it now! Cute Wells with his scootie...he is so dang coordinated. Maybe when they're older I can hire Wells to give Macie lessons on how to do athletic things.
ReplyDeleteOkay, and your neighborhood looks just like mine with 50 million kids running around! Fun stuff.
