What???

Last month we went to our ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby. I thought it was another boy and Wade thought it was a girl. I was so surprised and elated when they said, "It's a little girl!"  I started to cry which surprised me too.

I get to look at baby girl clothes now and daydream about cute hair styles and bows. There will be so many firsts for me and Wade that I just can't stop thinking about it. So excited!

Baby #3

I know this is really late. But better late than never right? Back on July 21st I gave this little box to Wade. When he opened and read the note he was so excited!!!  I loved his reaction.

Chandlers 2nd birthday.

I can't believe my baby is two!!!  He is the sweetest two year old I know. For the most part he's happy, cooperative, and fun to have around. He's a little shy and quiet when he's around new people or new places but when he's home he loves to talk and sing... All the time...
He has a good vocabulary for a two year old which probably helps him get what he wants. Ha!  On his birthday we started it off by going to his pediatrician for his wellness check up. He measured in at 97 percentile for height and 66 percentile for weight. So we have another big boy in our hands.

When we got home from his appointment  he helped Wells with his lemonade stand. He mostly drank the lemonade and looked cute. At one point he helped hold the sign so I think he earned every bit of the drink.

Then on Sunday we had a family party with cake and ice cream. This is my first four layer cake I've ever made. It was his favorite color.

When we went to the store to find some sort of cake topper he found this moose and would not put it down. So he got a moose for a cake topper.

Then we opened presents. He was very spoiled by everyone!  Both grandparents came, along with Spencer the Panters, Hooleys and Christensens

I just love this little boy so much and can't imagine what life would be without him.

Wells Family Party

On Sunday we had a family party for Wells.  The Hooley's, Christensen's and Grandma and Grandpa Hooton were there from Wade's side of the family and from my side was Grandma and Grandpa Farr and Spencer.  Wells is so loved from everyone around him, he is one blessed little boy.

Wells 5th Birthday!

Wow.  I can't believe Wells is already 5.  It seems like just yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital.

This year we did his first friend party and boy was it crazy!!! We invited 10 little 5 year olds but only 8 were able to make it.  We had Kate Bailey, Samara Smith, Jace Peck, Brigham Ferguson, Justin and Jessica Farr, Sloane Hooley, and Eli Christensen.  We were sad that Macie Kynaston and Josh Wirth couldn't come.

We played Red Rover, Tag, Duck Duck Goose, a Memory Game and we even blew open a piñata. The piñata was all Wells idea, that's all he asked for for his party and he wanted to be the first one to hit it.

After games we ate pizza, and had cake pops and ice cream.  Then we finished off the party with presents.

By the end of the party Wade and I were exhausted!!! We quickly realized if you don't keep them organized and entertained every second, they'll eat you alive!

My Golden Birthday!

This year was my Golden Birthday. What's a golden birthday you ask? Well it's the age you turn on the date you were born. So I was born on the 30th and I turned 30.
My sweet husband gave me the best golden birthday I could have ever imagined. He started the morning with pancakes and a cute birthday banner placed across or mantel. Then after spending the morning with us he left for work. But throughout the day he would send me texts saying. "Whatcha doin?" Then after I would reply with what I was doing he would say go look...(and then tell me to look for notes he had left throughout the house.)

This little scavenger hunt was so fun! I had a smile on my face throughout the whole day. And I knew that even though he was at work he was still thinking of me all day. So sweet.
Other than the random notes, I had a pretty typical day. Although...while Wells and I were laying in the grass after lunch  we found this awesome pirate ship in the sky...

The next evening we went out to dinner with our friends Ryan and Melanie Smith. We went to Market Street Grill and it was so fun to be with them. Then when we came home I walked into our house full of loved ones saying "SURPRISE!!!!".  My stomach did a little flip and my heart started racing!  I was so surprised!!!

Our kitchen was full of my best friends. It was so fun to see so many people from all walks of my life.  I couldn't get over that all of them would show up for me! It was just so sweet.
So after talking to Wade he said that he had been planning this for about two and a half weeks. He had emailed everyone and had even made little invitations for people to hand out at church!!!!
He asked our neighbor and good friend Tenille to help him with the decorations and treats and boy did he ask the right person. She really knows how to decorate for a party and she and my other neighbor and friend Natalie, made the best treats EVER!

The only thing that I'm so sad about is that I didn't get more pictures of everyone. When almost everyone had gone I realized that I didn't take one photo, so here is one of the photos I got of my neighborhood friends. These ladies are absolutely amazing and I love each one of them.

What an amazing weekend and what an amazing husband I have for making it that way.
Here's to my next 30 years!!!

Boys + Baseball

Last night Wade took Wells to a Bee's game. When I told Wells daddy wanted to take him to a baseball game he said very excitedly, "YES!!!  I knew he would take me to a baseball game some day!!!!"
When wade got there he went a little over board and bought wells a stadium hot dog for dinner, a "big" drink, some cotton candy, and a little bee's baseball bat.
Wade sent me a text during the game that said, "This is a day I've dreamed about!  Taking my boy to a baseball game." Then sent these photos.

Here's to many more perfect baseball nights to come.
