My baby is two...

I know this is a little late considering Wells' birthday was on the 20th, but I've been working on a little memory video.  My intentions were to make one every year for his birthday.  But with girls camp, work, and summer I've fallen a little behind.  Here is his first year video if you haven't seen it and you have nothing better to do :)

And here is the debut of his second year video.

I am so grateful God has sent this amazing little man into my life.  I can't even express how much I love him and how much more fun my life is with him in it.  He makes me laugh every day and somehow makes me realize how truly sweet our life is.

I love the way he loves to see our face in the morning but always concerned about where the other parent is when we both don't come in to greet him first thing.
I love the way he eats (most of the time cleaning up his plate)
I love the way he says, "hold you" when he wants to be held.
I love the way he wants ONLY his orange pacifier ("Oren BB" as he calls it)
I love the way he lights up at night and giggles so easily.
I love the way he gravitates toward music.  Singing, dancing, playing music.  Whenever he hears music he just lights up.
I love the way he calls the scooter the "scoot-it".
I love the way his wants to have "dance party" every night. (Right before bed we play music on the computer and we all go crazy dancing).
I love the way he pats us on the back when he gives us hugs
I love the way he smells when he gets out of the bath.
I love that he thinks he is soooo cute when he looks at himself in the mirror.
I love the way he wrestles with his daddy.
I love that he can throw a ball across a room.
I love that he loves to pray
I love that he is pretty obedient (for the most part).
I love that he is confident and independent.
I love that he loves to pick the peas strait from the vine and eat them like candy.
I love the way he hops up after he falls down and looks at me for reassurance and then runs on with what he was doing.
I love his big brown eyes and blonde hair.
I love the way he talks/sings to himself when he is falling asleep.
I love the way he tickles himself with his blanket under his nose and in his ear to soothe himself.
I could go on and on and on.

I truly hope that he will someday be able to look back at this post and know how much we love him and know how fortunate he is to live in this beautiful time and place.

Here are a couple pics of his family birthday party.  He was spoiled rotten by all the family and presents that surrounded him.

This is the cake that took me ALL day to make.  Not worth it.

He loves this little guitar and rocks out on it everyday.

Grandma Farr made him a little photo album of all his family.  He loves to look at it and point out everyone.

Summer fun

I know that Wells birthday has come and gone and I haven't posted anything about his birthday... but... I have something I'm working on to post, so it will just have to be a little late.

Anyway, yesterday the Hooton's irrigation water came in and we decided to go play in it.  I knew it would be something Wells would LOVE so we took advantage of the opportunity.  My sister-in-law Lori came over with her girls to play with us.  Wells had so much fun playing and running up and down the ditch with my niece Taryan.

A Post For My Girls!

I've had the opportunity to be the camp director in our ward this year.  It has been quite the learning roller coaster.  I've enjoyed this calling and everything that comes with it even more than I ever thought I would.  And the best part of it is I got to spend a week with most of our Young Women in a setting so beautiful and amazing.  So, this post is for the sweet girls that I came to know so well.

Here are some our our Ward Youth Camp Leaders (WYCL's) planning a scavenger hunt for the rest of the girls.

All of our WYCL's with our camp missionary host Sister Wood

The girls headed out on their scavenger hunt

Thanks to Amber Ferguson we all had pretty sweet braided hair

Good ol' fashioned fun!

Suzanne Christofferson was over all our delicious food. We ate REALLY well.  This was one of the highlights of the week, fruit pizza's!  It was so good I had to take two pictures of it :)

Our stake had a "Ward Feud".  Even though we didn't win our round I thought we should have.

Thank you Matt Wirth for making amazing fires for us every night.  This was one of your finest.

Games around the camp fire

 Beatles shot...  NICE...

 Testimony meeting

Thanks again girls for being patient, kind and great examples to me.  I will never forget this camp.
