Well it's that time of year again... Family pictures.  It's a good thing I have an amazing, talented friend who takes such beautiful pictures of our ugly mugs.  She makes us look goooood! (said with attitude).

I love our family.

It's The Little Things That Count

Yesterday Wade had to leave out of town AGAIN... but this time he did something really sweet that I just have to post.  He left for the airport while we were at church so when we came home I went into Chandlers room to lay him down for his nap and I found this cute little note...

Then I thought, well if he left a note for Chandler I'll bet ya he left a note for Wells.  And he did...

Then I got really excited thinking maybe, just maybe, he left a note for me too.  He did...

So when I found all the notes (and was smiling from ear to ear) I ran to Wells and told him that daddy left him a note in his room.  He ran in there and found it and asked me to read it to him (three times), then I told him that he left one for Chandler and for me so we found them and read them too.  It was so fun!  Wells then took all three notes and stuck them on his wall in his room and acted like he was reading them all again and again. He would say, "Dear Wells, I love you very much.  Love, Daddy".

It's amazing how such a little thing could brighten up our day.  I think it's just so nice to know that Wade was thinking of us and that he will miss us.  We love our daddy so much!  He is such a good man!

Three Months Old

I can't believe my baby is already three months old.

Wade's Birthday

Yesterday was Wade's 34th birthday.  We had such a great time hanging out together.   First off he came home from work early so that we could go to the Thanksgiving Point gardens and ride Segways.  It was our first time riding them and it was so much fun.  We were both a little sketchy at first and at one point Wade looked back and I was headed for the bushes saying, "Wade... WADE... WADE!!!!!.... AHHHH..." but then I pulled back finally and stopped and we were all good.  I decided that one day when I'm filthy rich and live in a huge house (too big to walk from the east wing to the west wing) I will buy a segway so I can easily go from room to room.

Then we came home and grabbed Chandler and left Wells with a babysitter and went to dinner at the Roof in Salt Lake.  Oh it was sooooo good (and romantic).  I ate and ate and ate.  We also saw Elder Holland and his wife eating just a few tables away from us.  That was pretty awesome!

Then when we came home our neighbor (also our babysitter) made Wade this cake.  I couple of weeks ago we were talking and she mentioned that she loves to make fun cakes so I asked her if she would make one for Wade's birthday. Anyway we decided on a golf cake.  The picture doesn't show how cute it was but it had little golf clubs on the side with little Nike golf balls.
