I love bikes

I just thought I'd throw out a little tribute to one of my favorite things.... BIKES!  Wade bought this bike for my birthday a couple of years ago and I just LOVE it.  I go on a ride almost everyday.  It's like the Cadillac of bikes.  It's so heavy that it rides so so smooth and the seat and the way you sit on it is so comfortable.  It even has 7 speeds!!!

(Sadly this is the only picture I have of my bike.  Obviously this was pre baby and about 2 years ago.  Oh to be young again)

Then...
My brother bought us this awesome bike. (Wade and I have been drooling on this one for about a month) He bought it for us for using him as our realtor.

Wade and I figure we can now have more kids because my brother also bought us this child seat that fits onto the bike.  Then we have a trailer that holds two kids that goes on the back of the bike.  So potentially we could have a family of 5 on this bad boy.

So thank you my lovely bikes.  Oh how I enjoy you so much.

One last note: If you ever need an awesome realtor that will bend over backwards for you whenever you need or want, turn to the best realtor EVER, Jeff Farr.  I will give you his number if you would like to get into your dream home today!

Moments like these...

As some of you know Wade is leaving out of town this weekend. So before he left we went in to gaze over our beautiful sleeping baby. (I guess 14 months isn't considered a baby anymore but I'm in denial right now that he's a toddler) While in there we accidentally woke him up and we frantically ran out hoping he wouldn't see us and just go back to sleep. Well he saw us and I think it scared him that all of the sudden he was woken up from a dead sleep and both his parents were running for the door. (I don't blame him I would freak out too.) Anyway I took this wonderful opportunity to go back in there and comfort him and snuggle with him for a bit. When I picked him up with his little BB (pacifier) and blankie and we sat down on the rocking chair he just melted into my arms. He just laid there half asleep enjoying my warm, comforting arms. After about 20 minutes of cuddling he slowly started to drift off to sleep and on his way out he lifted up his little hand and softly touched my neck.

It's moments like these where everything I do for him is worth it. The tantrums, the messes, the 10 billion poopie diapers, the chasing around church... it's all worth it. I could have melted into freshly microwaved butter. I love that little man and just thinking about my love for him makes me so overwhelmed I just want to cry.

I feel so blessed to have such a happy child given to me. I know my Heavenly Father loves me so much and I'm so grateful he has brought Wells into my life. I don't know what I would do without him.

Wells Wells Wells

I feel like I haven't posted anything in a long time.  Our lives are so crazy right now (which is a good thing) and I never remember to bring a camera wherever we go. So here are a few pictures of Wells just in case you've missed him.

This stuffed snake is one that Grandma and Grandpa Farr got for him in Georgia.

Just helping me sweep up the kitchen.

Our sweet neighbor GAVE us this cool truck.  Wells plays in it several times a day and he LOVES it when Grandpa Farr pushes him around in it.

He loves to read his books.  I really hope he stays that way :)

I'm one proud wife...

I know some of you saw that I posted this on Facebook but this is for my family who doesn't have a Facebook page.  Operation Smile made an award in Wades honor. It's called the K. Wade Hooton Visionary Award. These video clips describes Wade's accomplishments and why they named this award after him.  I'm so proud of his hard work and dedication, and I'm grateful Operation Smile recognizes the work he does.
